PRELUDIO [Prelude] - That which precedes and serves as an entrance, preparation or beginning to something.

On July 1st 2022 we reopening the doors of La Carpintería with our exhibition Preludio that extended until September 3rd and narrated the genesis (or prelude) of our project and the Ses Dotze Naus Foundation.

The show, curated by Fernando Gómez de la Cuesta and Ses12naus, represented a compendium of the experiences from our first artist residencies, held in 2016 and 2018, through a selection of art pieces. This exhibition featured the works of eight artists: Ana Laura Aláez, Karen Paulina Biswell, Martine Feipel & Jean Bechameil, Juan Gómez Alemán, Nihat Karatasli, Jesús de Miguel, Zeltia Montes, Damien Poulain and Santiago Ydáñez, all participants of the Ses12naus initiative in its germinal phase.
