Born in Barcelona, after graduating in law from the UB, she studied artistic ceramics and pottery at the Francisco de Alcántara School of Art in Madrid and photo printing on ceramics with Cristina Márquez. The sack of potatoes
‘When I touch the clay I go into a state of meditation. In silence, the here and now is all that matters to me. The smell of the clay brings back memories of my childhood. At breaks I dreamed of rainy days, when the schoolyard was wet, with my friend Sasha we made mud pies of all sizes, we put small logs and tree branches in them.’
‘These sacks of potatoes signify my life in Ibiza, in the countryside, where life seems to stop. They are my little memory and expression of the place where I live with my family and in the company of our neighbours, generous and hard-working people, who have shown me their culture and together with them I have lived magical moments.’
