As part of the public program of ‘6’, the Ses12Naus Foundation proposed various activities:
An artistic mediation activity titled LO QUE NO SE VE [‘what is not seen’] was conducted for educational centers. This included an artistic workshop and a guided dialogue visit with the participating students.
Additionally, a workshop was led by artist Cristina Stolhe for the elderly residents of Can Blai. During this activity, disposable cameras were distributed to document the exhibition from their perspective, capturing what inspired them most. At the end, participants shared their reflections in a social space that included card games and dominoes.
As a closing activity, artist Andrés Izquierdo held a workshop at the Puig des Molins Monographic Museum. The workshop featured a guided tour of the museum's collection and an outdoor collective reading to introduce participants to the interests and themes that inspired his artistic practice during the residency at Ses12Naus.
We are happy to announce our new exhibition, ‘6’, by Cristina Stolhe and Andrés Izquierdo.
The proposal, a result of their artistic residencies at Ses12Naus, combines the fields of experience of both artists: image and object. In this joint work, they explore the deeper layers of life in Ibiza, addressing themes such as absence, history, and night—not from a recognizable perspective, but from a more intimate and almost secretive one.
Inauguración: Saturday 12/10 from 6 PM to 9.30 PM
