Typography workshop
Letters surround us in everyday life — but how are they created? How does a typographer think, and what rules shape the way we read and see language?
During her stay in the Figueretes 2022 residency, visual artist and designer Raissa Pardini develops a workshop inspired by the typographies she discovers in Ibiza’s advertising landscape. The session introduces participants to foundational principles of typography, using local visual references as a starting point for a playful, hands-on exploration. Through guided exercises, attendees experiment with letters, composition, and rhythm—learning by doing and enjoying the endless possibilities of type.
