Gala Knörr

Open Call 2025-26

Gala Knörr’s work engages with navigation, resistance, and survival within our transformed digital reality. Through multidisciplinary installations combining image, painting, video, performance, and writing, she examines the construction of shared narratives and collective consciousness through media and popular culture.

In her residency, she focuses on the emotions, symbols, and languages that emerge within temporary autonomous zones linked to club culture, dance, and collective celebration. She observes how the dancing body reshapes architecture, how shared rhythms generate emotional bonds, and how the party—viewed critically—can operate as a political gesture, an emotional refuge, and a space where cultural narratives are negotiated.

Marina Marón

Open Call 2025-26

Marina Marón lives and works in Ibiza. Her practice spans abstract and spatial forms, working with oil on natural linen and clay sculpture to connect primitive and modern worlds.

During her residency, she investigates the elemental form of the casa payesa, understood not only as vernacular architecture but as a way of inhabiting the landscape. Through an analysis of its structures, proportions, and rhythms, she explores how primary geometry continues to evoke refuge, calm, and harmony, and how these qualities can be translated into a contemporary artistic language without losing their essence.

Diogo da Cruz

Open Call 2025-26

Diogo da Cruz is an artist who lives and works between Berlin and Lisbon. His practice encompasses sculpture, installation, and film, often unfolding through partially fictional scenarios rooted in socio-political concerns—past, present, or speculative futures. His work invites critical reflection on established systems of thought and power.

During his residency, he explores the layers of life and memory embedded in Ibiza’s landscapes, particularly its salines and coastal formations. From this crystalline archive, he investigates what endures beneath accelerated, ephemeral surfaces, and how slower rhythms of land and sea continue to shape the island.
