Rumor of a landscape
OUR SOUL IS AIR is a four-day programme that, taking wind as a metaphorical starting point, unfolds over two weekends.
The first chapter of the programme, titled Rumor of a Landscape, proposes to poetically approach the idea of wind as a generator—a bundle of energy that simultaneously disperses words and seeds, giving life to rituals and nourishing diversity. The programme will focus on the natural resources of the island, particularly on work with local and alternative agricultural systems, while also looking at artists who draw inspiration from natural elements in their practice.
Through a series of panels, activities, and presentations, as well as the individuals gathered around Rumor of a Landscape, the programme will explore—from a contemporary perspective—how the rural can give rise to a lucid and conscious form of artistic and cultural production.
